Robert Deeble is an American singer-songwriter based in Seattle. His recordings have been noted for their orchestrated arrangements, a subtle, minimalist style of production, and lyrical content. Robert’s first album released in 1994 with folk heroine Victoria Williams. Subsequent recordings included music industry veterans such as Rachel Blumberg (The Decemberists), Anna-Lynn Williams (Lotte Kestner), Jen Wood (The Postal Service), Tomo Nakayama and Stephen Hodges (Tom Waits/Mavis Staples).
Robert first received critical acclaim for his 1998 release Earthside Down and again with Heart Like Feathers (2012) which additionally received regular rotation on XM Satellite’s The Loft. His last full-length BELOVED (2018) and was a very personal account of the adoption of his daughter. Robert has since been working with producer Ric Hordinski for another full length album due in 2024.
As a touring artist Robert has had the honor to share the stage with Low, Ida, M Ward, Sam Phillips, Over The Rhine, Dave Bazan, Damien Jurado, The Kingsbury Manx, M Ward and Victoria Williams.
